Jean-Pierre Nicol a reçu le prix du Meilleur Espoir de Voile Habitable 2012 lors de la cérémonie des champions de voile du Languedoc-Roussillon, le 26 janvier dernier.
Je suis fier d’appartenir maintenant à cet ensemble d’acteurs, qui grâce à la mer, promeut les atouts indéniables des côtes du Languedoc Roussillon.
La région m’a attiré en premier lieu par son climat qui permet de naviguer toute l’année et surtout par la volonté et le dynamisme affiché par le CEM. It was with glorious sunshine and a deserved victory – the first of the circuit for Jean-Pierre Nicol – that the Quiberon Solo drew to a close today and with it the Figaro Bénéteau season 2011. Just a single race was on the programme for today’s point-scoring mission in the final event of the French Solo Offshore Racing Championship in Quiberon. Indeed a wind strength of force 2 to 3 enabled the solo sailors to compete in just one 10 mile coastal course, which mirrored the inaugural race for this event. 22nd at the finish, Jean-Pierre Nicol had hoped to change the tone of today’s racing through a series of windward-leeward courses later in the day.
